4 Days Classic Northern Tanzania Safari: Tarangire, Central Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Depart early in the morning from Arusha and drive south to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its dramatic baobab trees and large elephant populations. Spend the day traversing open savannahs and riverbank tracks where herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and waterbucks gather around the Tarangire River. Scan the acacia branches for tree-climbing pythons and resting leopards. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the bush before completing an afternoon game drive. Following breakfast, leave Karatu and travel through the mist-covered Ngorongoro Highlands before descending into the sweeping plains of Serengeti National Park. Game viewing begins immediately upon entering the Naabi Hill gate as you venture into the Central Serengeti (Seronera region). Celebrated for its high predator density, Seronera features rich riverine habitats and granite kopjes frequented by lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Spend the afternoon tracking wildlife across open grasslands before heading to Kontiki Serengeti Camp for dinner and an evening under the African sky.
