Tour Plan
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Karatu
Your guide will pick you up in Arusha to begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Spend the day on game drives along the Tarangire River tracking lions, giraffes, zebras, and colorful birdlife. In the late afternoon, head into the nearby highlands of Karatu to check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, set out through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the boundless plains of the Central Serengeti. Arrive at your tented camp in time to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night under the starry African sky.

Day 3: Full Day in Central Serengeti National Park
Dedicate a full day to exploring the savannahs and kopjes of the Central Serengeti. With flexible morning and afternoon game drives, track prides of lions, elusive leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and plains game throughout the Seronera River basin. Pause for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature before returning to camp for an evening by the campfire and dinner.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
Depart the Serengeti early and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a game drive in one of the world's dense wildlife havens. Search for the endangered black rhino, lions, hippos, flamingos, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to Karatu for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
